Have Your Say….
There is no such thing as a typical administrator. Recent research highlighted that companies are prioritising finding highly skilled admin professionals who fit specifically with their corporate culture and operations. However, with this movement the number of job titles continues to grow as well as responsibilities for like-for-like job titles being different and diverse.
These factors typically contribute to, or are accompanied by a lack of understanding amongst colleagues over both the day-to-day role of an administrative professional and the larger impact they have on an organisation. As a result, administrative professionals are often the under-represented workforce. Of course, this is not the case for all organisations but we want to open the conversation about what the administrative profession brings to an organisation.
The IAM’s latest campaign “what people are saying about administrators” launches on the 9th July, to open up the conversation about what people perceive the administrative professional as and the value that they bring to an organization. Throughout the week (9th -15th ) there will be first-hand commentary from the IAM, its members and industry leaders across our social media channels and on the IAM blog.
We want to invite you to join in with the conversation, to rally support for #AdminAwareness amongst professionals in the workplace.
