Member price reduction!
We start with some good news.
We have had feedback from members about pricing, so we have reduced the member fees to attend from £15 down to £5. Continuing professional development is so important and we really do want to encourage as many members as possible to attend the events.
Non-members will also get a reduction; from £20 to £15. Unless they are the guest of an IAM member, in which case they will only pay £10.
Events for 2019
The first dates, speakers and locations are in the diary for next year’s events. We’ll publish the details for the February events in the next few days, but for now the line-up is:
12 Feb – Gurinder Whall – London
13 Feb – John Hotowka – Sheffield
18 Feb – Adam Fidler – to be announced
5 March – Adam Fidler – Manchester
20 March – Paul Pennant – London
1 April – Heather Baker – Birmingham
9 April – Heather Baker – Liverpool
We will be looking to add at least one more event in April, although fitting it in with Easter may be a challenge.
We know we still need to get to more locations, so if you have a spare meeting room where you work get in touch with us in the usual ways and we can discuss your company hosting an event for us. Remember if you host you get free places.
Similarly, if you are part of a network contact us and we’ll look at ways we can collaborate.
Theme for 2019
This year we have a theme for our events. We intend to book sessions that will complement our series of articles covering the World Economic Forum (WEF) List of Most Desirable Skills for 2020 (http://www.instam.org/The-top-skills-that-will-be-most-desired-by-employers-by-2020).
We will still run events covering ‘technical’ skills, such as Business Acumen, Microsoft Office, or Event Management, but the majority of the events will focus on one or more of the skills identified by the WEF.
Make 2019 your year of professional development and come to one of our events.
