Loss of a valued Fellow of the institute

The IAM offers condolences to the family of The Lord Peston of Mile End who sadly passed away on 23rd April 2016 – Lord Peston was a Fellow of the Institute (FlnstAM) as well as a previous Honorary President.

At our 90th anniversary celebrations at the house of Lords in 2005 Lord Peston said in relation to the IAM:

I can’t believe that we have reached our 90th Anniversary. Over those years, the IAM has provided dedicated vocational qualifications which help professional administrators to do their jobs better.

IAM qualifications have helped people to fulfil their potential and have given them new confidence, and ultimately they have led to many successful managerial careers”.

We are sad to note Lord Peston’s passing. His support over many years has been invaluable.
