We are very pleased to announce a new IAM International Chapter which has launched in the Kurdistan region and other parts of Iraq. The IAM has a long tradition of working internationally and so the launch of a new chapter is always an exciting time for us.
International chapters represent the IAM in different countries, supporting professionals and employers, and providing a structure for people working within administrative management to be professionally recognised.
John Butterfield and Hemin Najmadden are the driving force behind the chapter in the region, both bringing an abundance of knowledge and business management experience.
Andrew, IAM General Manager, says “It’s always exciting when a new International Chapter opens. Having spoken to the two driving forces behind this venture, I am confident that Hemin and John will represent the IAM with professionalism and passion. I know they already have many ideas about how to promote the IAM throughout the country and are planning on organising interesting and informative events focusing on professional and career development”.
Through our international chapters we are able to support representatives in the country to offer Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events and networking opportunities, ensuring local conditions/requirements are recognised and support and guide the work with employers to raise professional standards.
International chapter manager for Kurdistan, Hemin Najmadden, comments “I am excited about the establishment of the IAM International Chapter in the Kurdistan region and other parts of Iraq. Through this platform, I will able to use my expertise and leadership to strengthen the Kurdistan region and Iraq UK relationships and transfer the relevant knowledge and skills for the overall benefit of both countries”.
We will be keeping you up-to-date on the progression of this chapter and how it is supporting the region.
